About

I trained as a broadcast journalist, a job which took me and my young family to Africa for ten years, to Latin America and now to Europe where I’m based in France.

I now host a podcast called The Sage Space - a space delving into the worlds and wisdom of the many people who shared their insights with me whilst I was going through treatment for breast cancer. A creative, follow-the-breadcrumbs journey which has been fun to put together. I hope you enjoy.

The other snapshots and stories you’ll find here and here are a small portfolio of some of my work reporting from Africa and Latin America for a host of radio programmes, magazines, newspapers and online publications. I’ve written educational radio dramas for African audiences.

Along with my sister, Sally, I’ve also added our journal in notebooks & colour - our love of the visual - design, photos, art, nature, colour - and the stories we’re lucky enough to have heard from people all over the world and will continue to add to from my corner of France. The stories are theirs but I hope by reading and listening to them you have an insight into their worlds and their souls.
